Our history

QuartoAtto is our ever-evolving story since 1930.

Inspired by our grandparents' passion for craftsmanship and today's fast-paced world, QuartoAtto trousers combine innovative tailoring with contemporary elegance and timeless Tuscan tradition.

Our experience in the sector is rooted in the past: our great-grandfather opened the first clothing store in Chianciano (Siena) , later expanding to Florence , Rome , Cagliari , and Caserta . Thirty years later, in 1960, our grandfather Fernando founded Camars (Chiusi in Etruscan), the family's first clothing manufacturing company, which gave birth to the first brand, Virgola, in 1980.
The pursuit of innovation continued with our father, who at just eighteen years old began traveling the world to bring new ideas into our artisanal DNA.

In 1997, our parents founded SBConcept , collaborating with the Breramode showroom in Milan and reaching prestigious stores such as Leclaireur in Paris , Barney's NY , Isetan in Tokyo ...
In 2007, Wool172 was born, a special project dedicated to wool, treated in innovative ways such as spraying, dyeing, and printing. And then came our way : Maria and Marco, who in 2020 created QuartoAtto .

Why Act Four?
We are the fourth generation of the family, dedicated to creating trousers, each with its own concept and brand. We chose the name QuartoAtto to keep alive and tell our story, a family tradition that embodies knowledge, experience, and the flavor of timeless things.

The term “ Act ” symbolizes the need for action, a new chapter, an act of transformation that unites tradition and modernity ; a commitment to an environmentally and socially conscious business that wants to create beauty that lasts over time and make a difference, for you and for the world.
