Our history

QuartoAtto is our continuously evolving story since 1930. Inspired by the artisanal passion of our grandparents and the frenzy of the modern world, QuartoAtto trousers combine an innovative sartorial taste with contemporary elegance and "timeless" Tuscan tradition.

Our experience in the sector has its roots in the past: our great-grandfather opened the first clothing store in Chianciano (Siena) , later expanding to Florence , Rome , Cagliari and Caserta . Thirty years later, in 1960, our grandfather Fernando founded Camars (Closed in Etruscan), the family's first clothing manufacturing company. This venture led to the creation of the first brand, Virgola , in 1980.
The search for innovation continued with our father, who at just eighteen years old began traveling the world in search of new ideas.

In 1997, our parents founded SBConcept , collaborating with the Breramode showroom in Milan and reaching prestigious stores such as Leclaireur in Paris , Barney's NY , Isetan in Tokyo ...
In 2007 Wool172 was born, a special project dedicated to wool, treated in innovative ways such as sprayed, dyed and printed. Since 2019, after years of study, research and experimentation, the fourth generation was born: QuartoAtto .

Why QuartoAtto?
We, Maria and Marco, are the fourth generation of the family, dedicated to the creation of trousers, each with its own concept and brand. We chose the name QuartoAtto to keep alive and tell our story, a family tradition that brings with it knowledge, experience and the flavor of "timeless" things.

The term “ Atto ” symbolizes the need for action, a commitment to a business that is aware of the environment and society and which wants to guarantee not only the beauty but also the durability of our products.
